College Park, MD – Locally owned indiBULK.com announced today that it will be providing a semester of free groceries to the 6 University of Maryland students recently displaced by a house fire on January 3rd 2015. The fire took place at about 4:30 a.m. on the 7400 block of Dartmouth Avenue, in College Park according to Prince George's County Fire Officials.
Upon hearing about the fire, indiBULK’s CEO, Mark Travis, reached out to Prince George County’s County Citizen Services Unit in charge of assisting the displaced students. The county was informed about the donation and reached out to the students. indiBULK is in touch with the students and will begin deliveries this week as school is back in session.
